New York History and Oyster Tasting

This is our signature lecture. It runs about 45 minutes and we discuss New York’s heyday as the oyster capital of the world. We will go through the basic ecology of oysters and learn about modern farming techniques. To finish, we will try three different kinds of oysters and discuss how to go about tasting them.

Starts at $65pp, option to add wine or cocktail pairing.

Shucking Class

There is objectively nothing cooler or hotter than being able to shuck your own oysters. In this class we will teach you all about oysters, how to open them, and how to enjoy them! We provide gloves, knives, and shucking towels. We also offer the option to purchase the knives and gloves to bring home with you.

Starts at $60pp, requires waiver.
